I am the mother of four lovely children, including one set of twins.  With a background as a PE-teacher, midwife and nurse, I now practise as a complementary therapist and teacher and have run my own School of Reflexology since 1996. 
 

After having my own children, I felt conventional ante-natal care inadequately prepared women for pregnancy, birth and motherhood. My work as a midwife and reflexologist at the natural "Birth Unit" in The Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth in North London, and in practice as a complementary therapist/midwife along side Jehuidi Gordon and Janet Balaskas, led me to set up my own independent practice "Birth-in-Control", offering massage, reflexology, visualisation, relaxation, gentle exercises and baby massage.

I passionately share my insights into women's emotions, health and life stages with other complementary therapists and midwives as well as with female clients.  I train groups and provide individual care.  I also runs seminars and gives talks locally, nationally and internationally.

I live happily in Harpenden with my husband Paul between there, Sweden and Catalunya, where we will shortly be providing art holidays.  (Website coming soon).
